Privacy Notice

This site is a showcase: it has no forms and collects no personal data. Bookings and orders happen by phone or on WhatsApp. This notice describes, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), how Shri Ganesh Indian Restaurant handles data in those cases and which third parties are involved in running the site.

Data collected and purpose

The data is whatever you choose to write in your WhatsApp message or tell us on the phone: name, phone number, date, time and number of people for a booking, or dishes, time and delivery address for an order, including any notes about allergies or intolerances. It is used only to handle your request and get back to you to confirm it.

Legal basis

Steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, art. 6.1.b GDPR: you write to book or order, and we process the data needed to answer you. Any information about allergies or intolerances falls under special categories of data and is processed only because you chose to tell us for the preparation of your dish.

Third-party providers

Conversations happen on WhatsApp and are processed by WhatsApp Ireland Limited under its own privacy policy (whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea). The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which records visitor IP addresses in its technical logs. The map loads its tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which receives the visitor's IP address when the map is displayed. The site uses no profiling cookies and no analytics tools.

Retention

Messages stay in the restaurant's WhatsApp history and are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and, if the booking or order is confirmed, to organise the service.

Your rights

You can ask at any time for access, rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of your data by writing to shriristoranteindiano@pec.it (certified email) or to the restaurant's WhatsApp number.
